Fees for services will be disclosed at the time of booking, registration, or purchase. Unless otherwise stated, all prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes, including GST/HST where required by law.
Payment may be required in advance to confirm enrollment or booking. We may accept payment through third-party payment processors, bank transfer, credit card, debit card, or other methods specified by us. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

- fees are non-transferable unless we expressly approve a transfer in writing; and
- you are responsible for any charges imposed by your financial institution or payment provider.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to refuse or cancel an order or booking where a pricing error has occurred, subject to applicable law and any refund obligations that may apply.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Our cancellation and refund practices are designed to reflect the nature of educational services, limited class sizes, instructor scheduling, and resource allocation. Any specific course or program policy disclosed at registration will apply in addition to this section.
General policy:
- Private tutoring sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled only if notice is provided within the timeframe stated at booking, or if no timeframe is stated, at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.
- Group classes, workshops, and exam preparation sessions may be subject to stricter cancellation rules because of reserved seating and course planning.
- No-shows, late arrivals, or missed sessions are generally non-refundable and may not be rescheduled, except where required by law or expressly authorized by us.
Refunds: Refund eligibility may depend on the service type, timing of cancellation, and whether any course materials, access credentials, or lessons have already been provided. To the fullest extent permitted by law, fees for completed sessions, consumed materials, and partially used packages are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
Force of consumer law: Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable Canadian or Ontario consumer protection laws. Where those laws provide a mandatory refund, cooling-off, or cancellation right, we will comply with the applicable legal requirements.
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where reasonably practicable. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution or payment processor.
6. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alpine Path German Learning Inc., including its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and instructors, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of our services.
Our services are educational in nature. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, including language proficiency, exam results, employment outcomes, business performance, immigration results, or any particular academic or professional achievement.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free operation of our website, online platforms, or third-party tools. You are responsible for protecting your own devices and data.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the services or these Terms will not exceed the amount paid by you to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or such lesser amount as may be required by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or where such limitation would be unenforceable under Canadian law.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, materials, lesson plans, presentations, worksheets, recordings, assessments, handouts, course structures, logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and other materials provided by Alpine Path German Learning Inc. are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and full payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the materials solely for your personal, non-commercial learning purposes or, if applicable, your internal business use as expressly authorized in writing.

In such circumstances, we may, at our discretion, reschedule services, provide alternate delivery methods, pause services, or issue credits or refunds as required by law or as we deem reasonable under the circumstances.
10. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, operational practices, or business needs. When we make changes, we will post the updated Terms with a new effective date or otherwise notify you where required by law.
